Introducing: Spector ‘What You Wanted’

There are a lot of different ways to discover music these days (if you hadn’t noticed). Sometimes I miss the linearity and the simplicity of receiving a singular music magazine on a Saturday morning. When I was a determined indie chick with an avid crush on Blur no other band would have got a look in. Now I have a deep thirst for culture and there are an abundant queue of suppliers on this worldwideweb thing. One of them is Bands In Transit who have kept their site fresh with quality videos from new talent and proved themselves worthy of following. They’ve just hooked me in yet again by sending me this performance by Spector entitled ‘What You Wanted’. With an album on the way next year this is a band to keep on your radar. Don’t you think? I am also now following Xenz on Issuu – if you can’t make it down to his exhibition take a look at some of his art on here… it’s delicious and won’t fatten you up: http://issuu.com/xenz/docs/cuckoo_book_xenz/1

Now sit down.. sit down and relax.. cos here is SONOIO, the experimental project of Alessandro Cortini, former keyboard player of Nine Inch Nails.

Also totally worth a listen is his remix of Ladytron: Houdini (Ladytron Remix)

Have a great Wednesday.. Becki Bx
