ROBIN HOOD: ‘Rise and rise again until lambs become lions’
We travelled from afar in our diesel powered chariot to join our friends the merrymen at Lulworth Castle. Many surprises lurked amongst the tranquil background set in the hilly land known to many as Dorset. Shrek got wasted as usual, the cavemen jumped around to the joys of the entertainment put on by King Rob Da Bank and with a fine selection of culinary delights we feasted on pizza pies (Pieminister – yum) and cake. Katy B delighted us bouncing about without any lights because lest we forget lights haven’t actually been invented in medieval times. Mark Ronson paid tribute to the late Amy Winehouse with a storming set including some of Amy’s back catalogue and hysteria set in for Ed Sheeran who woo’ed his female following with his folky hip hop set. On request he belted out one of our favourite medieval tracks… namely…my favourite – The Cuckoo Song…keeping it real for ohDearyme (we always like to nourish new talent)… Travel back in time for the Adventures of Camp Bestival 2011 on ohDearyme…(we would like to apologise now for the bad audio – we had technical difficulties with the microphone I’m afraid… again…)
