100th International Women’s Day: Annie Lennox

“The one hundredth anniversary of International Women’s Day is a moment in time. Let’s make it a moment that counts. Let’s make it a moment that lasts.” Annie Lennox

I just witnessed The Equals Soul Train down at Southbank for the 100th Anniversary of International Women’s Day…where men and women danced together for equality.. there were a few famous female faces down there joining the campaign.. Paloma Faith…. Speech Debelle.. and…. and wait for it.. the great ANNIE LENNOX. Alas.. I only managed to squeeze a hello…but still.. it’s a hello from Annie Lennox.. and here it is.. wait for it.. wait for it.. it’s GOLD this is..

The We Are Equals team have done an excellent campaign and if you haven’t seen it already here’s this is why International Women’s Day is important:

Have a great day enjoy your pancakes and respect one another..
